What Makes Rarity Gallery Mykonos so Unique?
The idea behind the whole project of the Rarity Gallery is to bring the audience closer to contemporary modern art through carefully curated art exhibits of the most renowned artists of today as well as those who made an impact in the movement.
This is the first establishment of this kind in Greece, located in the center of the Mykonos island in a remodeled five-room mansion.
This is an ideal space to take the visitors on a journey through the mindset and the history of the exhibited artists, room by room as if they are all an individual story making a perfect circle of modern art today.
The two curators behind all of this are Vassilis Matsaidonis and Christos Nikolaou, and they had a clear mission to honor the artists and bring the public closer to the understanding of contemporary art.
